Governor Eduardo Leite delivered, this Wednesday afternoon (1/11), 24 new vehicles to the Department of Education (Seduc). The Spin model cars will be used by the Regional Education Coordinations (CREs).
In this first stage, 15 coordinators were considered. In February, the delivery of 17 more cars is expected for the other CREs. By the end of February, 41 new vehicles will be leased, with an annual investment of R$ 1.2 million. Each coordination will receive at least two Spin.
The objective of this investment in the fleet is to optimize the exercise of the administrative functions of the CREs with the schools and school communities in Rio Grande do Sul. “It is an investment to support the structures of the CREs. All of them will have new, safer vehicles to transport people who help put our education plan into practice”, said Seduc’s owner, Raquel Teixeira.
The new vehicles were leased, a business modality that guarantees new cars, with insurance and mandatory inspections sent by the rental company. The model chosen has a greater load capacity, with lower fuel consumption and maintenance costs compared to those currently used by the coordinators.

2nd CRE – São Leopoldo – 1 vehicle
6th CRE – Santa Cruz do Sul – 2 vehicles
