This Tuesday, the 10th, the leaders of the Gramado executive were invited to attend a meeting at the Union of Hospitality, Restaurants, Bars, Parks, Museums and Similar Services in the Hydrangeas Region (Sindtur) together with other local entities.
The meeting included the explanation of experiences and ideas of each representative of the participating entities and the main agenda was the number of visitors in Gramado.
Mayor Nestor Tissot and deputy mayor Luia Barbacovi spoke about the numbers that show that Gramado had a good flow of visits in 2022. “Gramado did not have a drop in the number of tourists, what changed was the profile of these people”, highlighted Luia citing that the municipality received 7.5 million tourists last year, according to the Gaúcha Highway Company (EGR). The number represents the largest audience in the history of the region.
During the meeting, Nestor insisted on talking about the importance of local trade and businessmen in the region. “I love Gramado, but I am temporarily in charge of mayor. Those who will stay are local entrepreneurs and businesses, so we need to strengthen ourselves and work together, ”he said.

The presidents of representative entities were present at the meeting: Claudio Souza from Sindtur Serra Gaúcha, Paulo Marques from Sindimobil, Tiago Mayer Martins from CDL, Enzo Arns from the Convention Bureau, Marcelo Waslawick from Abrasel, Manoela da Costa Moschem from Apasg, Guido Thiele from Sindilojas and Josué Spengler, vice-president of Visão.
