This Friday, 6th, at 2 pm, the organizing group of Christmas at Rótula do Bairro Rio Branco 2022 will donate to Associação Força Rosa the excess amount obtained from the resources received from the 62 companies that acted as sponsors and supporters for the Project realization. The value will be revealed on the day, with the presence of the NGO’s managers. All sponsors and supporters are also invited.
Cláudia Steigleder, one of the creators of the lighting at the construction site located in the Rio Branco neighborhood, recalls that ever since the initiative began, donating resources to a philanthropic entity has always been the ultimate goal. “We want to repay all the kindness and goodwill with which the community joined this action, which came about in such an unpretentious way”, she emphasized.
Accountability – Christmas at the Rótula in the Rio Branco neighborhood was a dream cherished by businesswoman Cláudia Steigleder, who shared it with a small group of local residents, based on her desire to re-establish fraternal coexistence during the Christmas period, as well as to generate new affective memories with the community – which was nostalgic for the old Christmases in the place and whose great highlight was the Scrap Crib. As a domino effect, dozens of people and companies joined the project, participating with financial resources or providing services. The financial resources were managed by ACIST-SL, invited by the group to be the trustee.
The group then elaborated an executive project to idealize the form of organization and decoration and also promoted the launch event, held on December 3rd, which attracted hundreds of people. The disassembly will take place on January 6th, the same day the donation is delivered to the AFR.
The Group – The group, initially formed by Cláudia Steigleder (Livraria Steigleder) and Marta Padilha (Nossa Agropet) and the communicator Bado Jacoby (Start Comunicação), was joined by Marcelo Zanotieli, manager of the Sicredi Pioneira Rio Branco agency, and Maiara Fangueiro , executive manager of ACIST-SL. Next, businesswomen Marília Schneider (D & D Mecânica) and Maria Helena Fleck (Ágile Soluções em Comunicação) joined the initiative to prepare the executive project and journalist Elizabeth Renz offered the Press Office service. “Everyone gave their time, knowledge and connections to make this project a reality that will benefit the entire community”, said Cláudia.
About Christmas at the Rótula do Rio Branco – Generating childhood memories like those of Cláudia, which were marked by an illuminated Nativity Scene made of Scraps created by businessman Paulo Kutcher and which attracted hundreds of people to the Rótula in Bairro Rio Branco during Christmas in the years 80s and 90s. This was the goal of businesswoman Cláudia Steigleder, who won other entrepreneurs who live or work in the neighborhood of São Leopoldo to rescue the sense of community. This is how the Natal na Rótula do Bairro Rio Branco project was born, which was quickly supported by exactly 62 companies, who donated funds for the decoration to take place.
About the Rosa Force Association
Associação Força Rosa is an NGO that works with women undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Founded in March 2012, it is maintained entirely by donations. The management of the Association is also voluntary and today its leaders are Carla Dal Ri, Maria Inês Becker and Fabrícia Jaeger.
In September 2022, AFR inaugurated the dreamed Casa Rosa, its own headquarters located in Bairro Pinheiros – previously it operated in a room provided by the Centro de Eventos São Leopoldo. In an area of around 170 square meters, with reception rooms, activities room, kitchen and storage, around 60 patients are assisted, who receive the support of psychologists and nutritionists, in addition to music and handicraft workshops. According to the managers, there is still a lack of furniture and equipment for the facilities.
