He said he has mild symptoms after taking three doses of the vaccine against the disease. “Since I already took the third dose of the vaccine on December 3rd, covid hit me with little intensity,” he said.
On Sunday, the former senator met with former São Paulo governor Geraldo Alckmin (no party). The PT member was in favor of a possible Lula-Alckmin ticket for next year’s presidential dispute.

“I feel duty bound to inform everyone, especially those who have been with me for the past few days, that after yesterday coughing and feeling tired, I tested positive for covid,” he wrote.
Eduardo Suplicy said he was resting and following his doctor’s recommendations. “I reinforce the recommendation that they wear a mask, always wash their hands or rub alcohol in gel, as the virus spreads very easily”, he wrote.
He ended the posts saying: “I continue to ask God to give me health to intensify my journey towards the institution of Basic Income for Universal and Unconditional Citizenship, traveling all over Brazil defending the proposal”.
