The application ConnectSUS, which records the entire trajectory of patients in the Unified Health System (SUS) – including vaccines received in public and private networks – had its operation re-established, according to a statement released this Thursday (Dec 23) by the Ministry of Health.
The platform remained with problems for 13 days, including the unavailability of the function to issue the Covid-19 National Certificate of Vaccination, after a hacker attack. According to the government, the issuance of the certificate may present instabilities in the first hours after the restoration, due to the amount of accesses.
On the date of the hacker attack, using as justification the flaws in ConnectSUS, the Federal Executive announced a seven-day postponement of the beginning of the collection of proof of vaccination against covid for entry into Brazilian territory. Subsequently, Minister Luís Roberto Barroso, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), determined to make it mandatory to present the receipt for travelers from abroad arriving in Brazil.
