The National High School Examination (Enem) 2024 edition opens registrations on Monday (27) and continues until June 7. The participant must register at Enem Participant Pagewith CPF and password from the federal government portal Gov.br.
According to the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) – which is linked to the Ministry of Education and responsible for organizing Enem –, payment of the registration fee must be made from the 27th of May until the 12th. of June.
The fee remains at R$85, payable by bank slip (generated on the Participant Page), Pix, credit card, debit from a current or savings account (depending on the bank). To pay via Pix, simply access the QR code on the bill.
The result of the fee exemption requests was released by Inep on May 13th. Approval of the exemption does not mean that registration was carried out automatically. The interested party must register to participate in the exam.
When registering, the participant must choose the language of the foreign language test (English or Spanish).
Treineiros
Students who will complete high school after the 2024 academic year or those interested in taking the exam who are not currently taking and have not completed high school can also participate in the Enem as trainees. The candidate, however, must be aware that their participation will only serve to self-assess their knowledge.
Individual training results cannot be used to access higher education. The results of the tests for this group will be released 60 days after the general announcement of the other candidates.

One in 2024
The 2024 edition of the National High School Exam will be applied in all states and the Federal District on November 3rd and 10th. On the first day of the exam, the tests are on languages, codes and their technologies, in addition to writing and human sciences and their technologies. The application will last 5 hours and 30 minutes.

Created in 1998, Enem assesses students’ academic performance at the end of basic education, that is, at the end of high school. The exam has become the main gateway to higher education in Brazil, through the Unified Selection System (Sisu) and initiatives such as the University for All Program (Prouni), which grants full and partial scholarships in higher education courses. graduation and specific training sequences.
Private higher education institutions also use Enem scores to select students. The results also serve as a parameter for access to government aid, such as the Student Financing Fund (Fies).
Individual Enem results can also be used in the selection processes of Portuguese institutions that have an agreement with Inep. The agreements guarantee easy access to grades for Brazilian students interested in pursuing higher education in Portugal.
