VEJA, previously known as VERT in the country, presents the new Dekkan, a silhouette designed with one of the most important brands in the development of technical soles for outdoor sports: Au Vieux Campeur, which for more than 80 years has been, in France, the store reference in reliable, high-quality equipment for outdoor activities.
Au Vieux Campeur’s experience and passion for outdoor equipment are an excellent combination for the collaboration with VEJA, known for combining technology and ecological materials in its sneakers.
Inspired by retro 70s design, the new Dekkan combines orange, khaki and violet colors with the vintage Au Vieux Campeur logo printed on the tongue. Comfortable, technical and durable, the Dekkan integrates functionality and high-performance components, making it perfect for outdoor exercises, such as hiking and trails, as well as being versatile for everyday use.
The upper of the Dekkan VEJA x Au Vieux Campeur is made from Alveomesh, a breathable fabric made entirely from recycled polyester. The midsole has 56% sugar cane in its composition and the outsole, made from 30% Amazonian rubber, incorporates Vibram technology, the leading name in high-quality soles for hiking. It provides protection and support to the feet, and this new pair also features waterproofing around the entire perimeter of the sole.
