Ingredients:
- 500 grams of fried chicken
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 3 teaspoons of salt
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
- ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder
- ½ green pepper cut into small cubes
- 1 seedless tomato cut into small cubes
- 1 ½ cup of rice tea
- 4 cups of boiling water
- Pimento pepper to taste
- Green chives for sprinkling
Preparation mode:
First, in a bowl, mix the chicken, garlic, lemon juice, a teaspoon of salt and set aside for 1 hour. In a pan, heat the oil over high heat and fry the chicken until golden. Add the onion, paprika, saffron, pepper, tomato and sauté. Then, add the rice, boiling water and the rest of the salt. Lower the heat and cook for another 20 minutes, stirring a few times, until soft and creamy. Add the biquinho pepper and sprinkle the green scent. Serve immediately.
