The 15th birthday celebration represents a moment full of meaning in the lives of young women. An occasion full of cultural symbolism, it marks the transition from adolescence to adulthood. “The arrival of 15 years old is a very important milestone in a girl’s life”, comments Silvia Fregonese, designer and owner of Atelier Silvia Fregonese in Curitiba, Paraná.
With the aim of being part of this unique moment, Atelier Silvia Fregonese has just launched its special collection for debutantes 2024. “Every year we develop an exclusive collection designed especially for debutantes. We seek to establish a super special and unique connection with each of the girls, and we want the chosen dress to convey her entire personality in this very special moment, which marks the transition from adolescence to womanhood”, comments Silvia.
This selection of pieces for debutantes is made with extreme care and care, thinking about the special meaning of this moment in their lives. “We bring references, research shows and trends in order to create a collection that is unique and totally different from the previous year. We know that celebrating 15 years is a dream for many girls, so we are very happy to be part of this moment”, explains the designer.
The work of curating the pieces is done by Silvia herself, who has visited more than 50 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa to select dresses that are true “works of art” to wear. More than half of the brands discovered by the designer are exclusive to her studio in Brazil.
