Kérastase presents the Première line, a new luxury collection for damaged hair. The line, with double repair action, permanently breaks the recurring cycle of damage caused by calcium accumulation.
In a proprietary study, Kérastase identified calcium as an important amplifier of hair damage. With each bath or wash of hair, the calcium present in the water accumulates in the hair fiber, causing breakage, stiffness and weakening, in a recurring damaging cycle.
On the outside, the excess presence of this mineral in the cuticles leaves the strands rough and weakened, while on the inside, it infiltrates between the keratin chains, breaking their bonds, which results in hair that is more rigid and prone to breakage. Formula
Première has the highest concentration of pure acids ever used in any other collection of the brand. Its high performance is the result of the synergy between citric acid, responsible for eliminating calcium, and glycine, with a repair function, in a combination of 8% concentration. It also contains peptides, responsible for filling and sealing the surface of the fiber, for stronger, hydrated and shiny hair.
