The gaming universe received another tribute from G-Shock in the collab with Riot Games, the developer of the game League of Legends.
The game, popularly known as LoL, is a five-on-five multiplayer, in which players control what the game calls “Champions”. The objective of the matches is to dominate the enemy tower. Since its launch in 2009, it has increasingly become a multimedia product, surpassing the gaming barrier, inspiring the release of books, music and even Netflix series.
The GM-B2100LL and GA-110LL are two stylish watches with the most successful title within the e-Sports universe. With exclusive details, the limited edition G-Shock honors the game’s most iconic champions and captures the essence of League. Each watch will be a collector’s piece, standing out not only as an expression of style, but also as a symbol of passion for League.
The G-Shock GA-110LL is inspired by Jinx, one of LOL’s playable characters and one of the most used champions during matches due to her unique skills and style. She is loved both for her challenging gameplay and her eccentric personality. Jinx’s characteristics were transmitted to the watch, with a neon and colorful look in pink, blue, yellow and black and also with a hand in homage to the Super Mega Death rocket, the player’s powerful ability with long-range destruction capacity. The model is delivered in a can, also with the icon print, making the watch distinctive.
The special edition maintains the brand’s characteristics, being shockproof, resistant to water depths of up to 200 meters and full of advanced features, such as stopwatches, 29 time zones, daily alarms, time signaling, orange LED lighting, automatic calendar, among other benefits, making it a reliable partner for all everyday situations.
The GM-B2100LL watch was inspired by Champion Jayce’s passive “HexTec” ability, through a more discreet and sober look, but without losing the essence of power and technology of HexTec. The model with solar battery, presents the frame and part of the bracelet finished with ionic coating in gold, followed by partially worn black to give an aged appearance.
The hands and LCD have touches of blue, reminiscent of Jayce’s skill. Piltover’s coat of arms is engraved on part of the bracelet, evoking the city where this magical technology was born. With double LED light in white, it also has world time for 38 countries, timers, alarms, stopwatches, calendar and much more to reinforce appointments and punctuality with a lot of personality.
