Estância Velha will hold this Saturday, April 27th, the 2nd Anita Garibaldi School Chess Tournament. The start is scheduled for 9 am and should end around 4 pm, with a break from 12 pm to 1:30 pm, as predicted by the competition organizers. The winners of each category receive trophies and the others up to 5th place receive medals, for men and women.
The competition follows the model of the School Olympiad with the categories Diaper (8 and 9 years old), Pre-Child (10 and 11 years old), Junior (12 and 13 years old) and Children (14 and 15 years old). The competition is organized by Bobby Fischer Xadrez Clube and has the support of Escola Municipal Anita Garibaldi and Projeto Social Dimel.
