Esteio performs this Sunday (24), the traditional staging of the Passion of Christ. The religious event portrays the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and moves devotees every year.
In this edition, the play will be presented to the public at Praça Coração de Maria, in the center of Esteio (Rua Padre Felipe, S/Nº), by the Liberdade de Voar Theater Group, from the Imaculado Coração de Maria Church.
The spectacle of faith on Palm Sunday, promoted by the Municipal Department of Culture, Sport and Leisure (SMCEL), starts at 8pm. Entry is free.
