The Health Department of Estância Velha will start the flu vaccine (Influenza) on Monday (25) in all health centers in the municipality.
Following guidance from the Ministry of Health, this stage includes priority groups and continues until March 31st. The Health Surveillance forecast is to reach 90% of vaccination coverage by the end of the campaign.
The vaccination rooms at the nine clinics in the municipality are open from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 12 pm and from 1 pm to 4:30 pm. The Health Department’s guidance is for residents of priority groups to seek out the health unit in their neighborhood. The vaccination strategy for the “D-Day” of mobilization, which takes place on April 13, will soon be announced.
Covid-19
People with acute, moderate or severe febrile illnesses and/or a confirmed case of Covid-19 are recommended to postpone vaccination until their condition improves.
Priority groups
- Children aged 6 months to under 6 years
- Indigenous children aged 6 months to under 9 years
- Health Workers
- Pregnant women at any gestational age
- Postpartum women up to 45 days after giving birth
- Teachers of public and private basic and higher education
- Elderly people aged 60 and over
- Security and rescue forces professionals
- People with chronic non-communicable diseases and other special clinical conditions (regardless of age)
- People with permanent disabilities
- Truckers
- Public road transport workers (urban and long-distance)
