Between the 22nd and 24th of March, Criciúma, a municipality in the south of Santa Catarina, will host the second stage of the STU National 2024 (Skate Total Urbe). The competition will feature the participation of big names in skateboarding, including Augusto Akio, Gui Khury and Daniela Vitória, promising a series of radical maneuvers.
Augusto Akio, who currently occupies third place in the world skateboarding rankings, is in contention for his second consecutive title in Criciúma. After becoming the big winner in the 2023 stage, Akio aims to impress again with his exceptional skills and maneuvers to win another championship in the city of Santa Catarina.
Gui Khury, from Curitiba, just 15 years old, who already collects several medals in X-Games and national championships, enters the Parque da Prefeitura track in search of yet another achievement, representing the new generation of the skate park. Just like 14-year-old Amazon native Daniela Vitória, who has been gaining more and more space in street skate tournaments, competing alongside Rayssa Leal and Pâmela Rosa.
In addition to skate park and street, STU will feature adapted modalities, known as paraskate. The member of Squad BB, Nando Araújo, known as a blind skateboarder, in addition to competing in the two adapted modalities, will inspire everyone who will be there and follow the Sportv broadcast.
Felipe Nunes, who lost both legs at the age of six, also promises high emotions in the street and park paraskate modalities, in addition to competing in the non-adapted street modalities.
