The 13th Traditionalist Region held the Lides do Campo event last Saturday (02/03), at Fazenda do Cabeto, located in Costa do Bica, 3rd District of Canguçu. The program included the participation of the mayor of Santa Maria, Jorge Pozzobom, and several leaders of the Gaúcho Traditionalist Movement, such as councilor Edemar Fischer, and local political figures, including councilor Givago Ribeiro.
Ildo Wagner, vice-president of cavalcades at the Movimento Tradicionalista Gaúcho, highlighted that the event focused on subjects such as milking techniques, cattle management, pest control and calf care. The discussions were complemented by photos and videos made specifically for the occasion.
Davi Lucas Wagner Tauchen, the first Piá of the 13th Traditionalist Region, was the main organizer of the activities, which also included practical demonstrations of building fences and fences. At the end of the event, Piá Farroupilha shared two motivational phrases: “Ox don’t grow on trees and milk doesn’t come from the box” and “A horse remains a horse without a rider, but a rider without a horse is just a person”.
