The Sapiranga Municipal Center for Environmental Studies (Cemeam) begins the 2024 schedule of free courses in partnership with the National Rural Learning Service (Senar) and the Taquara Rural Union. The program is monthly, from March to October, and covers different areas with classes of 15 students.
The project has already benefited hundreds of students who participate in the meetings and learn about various topics that clarify doubts and provide professional training. The courses last an average of three days and are taught by technicians from each area, whether gastronomic, environmental or manual work, and include theoretical and practical activities. Some classes already had a waiting list and have already graduated, but there are still places for other courses, check the schedule:
March 25th and 26th – Medicinal, spicy and aromatic plants;
April 8, 9 and 10 – Fruit processing;
May 21st and 22nd – Homemade pies and sweets;
June 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th – Cheese making; (full class)
July 8, 9, 10 and 11 – Cloth doll crafts;
August 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th – Basic production of women’s clothing; (full class)
September 2, 3 and 4 – Homemade baking;
October 7th and 8th – Homemade cookies and savory snacks.
