The government of the State of São Paulo declared a state of emergency for dengue. The announcement of the decision will be made this Tuesday morning (5).
The decision was taken by the Emergency Operations Center (COE), coordinated by the State Department of Health, after recording 31 deaths and 138,259 cases, of which 169 were considered serious.
The measure comes after the state reaches 300 confirmed cases of dengue for each group of 100 thousand inhabitants.
According to the São Paulo government, another 122 deaths remain under investigation. Between January 1st and March 4th, deaths were recorded in 21 cities. Are they:

- Ribeirão Preto: 2 deaths
- Pindamonhangaba: 2 deaths
- Taubaté: 2 deaths

Capital of São Paulo has 27 deaths under investigation
In the city of São Paulo, which has 2 confirmed deaths from the disease, there are another 27 deaths under investigation. To date, there are 32,212 cases registered.
