To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Marcopolo México chose Expo Foro 2024, which takes place at Expo Bancomer Santa Fé, in Mexico City, from February 28 to March 1, as the stage to announce the local production of the Torino electric and Paradiso vehicles G8. The versions of the Paradiso G8 that will be manufactured at the Mexican plant include the Paradiso 1200 and the Paradiso 1350. In addition, the company will introduce the Boxer, a bus with a unique design, designed especially to meet the demands of the Mexican market. Marcopolo México also stands out for having the largest number of vehicles displayed at the event, with a total of 11 buses, demonstrating its significant presence and innovation in the sector.
The manufacturer will also have seven units on display at partner stands. At the Daimler stand, there will be a Paradiso G8 1200 road car, a conventional urban Torino, with Euro 6 emissions technology and an urban Boxe, with a new design and the first with Mercedes-Benz Evolution/Euro 6 technology. At the Scania stand, there will be presented a Paradiso 1600 G8 and a Torino with a rear engine. At the Volkswagen/MAN stand, a Torino Low Entry and a Senior minibus.
New Generation 4 Boxer
Developed exclusively for the Mexican market, the Boxer model reaches its fourth generation and is one of the most successful models in the country. The new version features design and structural changes, with clean and dynamic lines, consolidating its leadership by introducing a more attractive look and ease of maintenance.
25 years in Mexico
