The long-awaited film “Horizonte”, under the debut direction of actor Rafael Calomeni, has its grand premiere in Caxias do Sul scheduled for this Tuesday, February 20th, at 7:30 pm, in the welcoming space of the Ulysses Geremia Cinema Room, an integral part of Municipal Center of Culture Dr. Henrique Ordovás Filho.
The film’s engaging narrative revolves around Rui and Jandira, septuagenarian characters, who meet and form a special bond in a community for the elderly. Initially friends, the two discover love in old age, an unprecedented experience for both.
The film’s cast includes renowned talents such as Suely Franco, Raymundo de Souza, as well as Alexandra Richter, Ana Rosa and Pérola Faria. The script, a creation by Dostoiewski Champangnatte, who is also producing alongside Lu Klein and Cecília Brito, has already won recognition at cinematographic events, such as the Satyros Bijou Festival and the Broom Festival, winning prominent awards in several categories.
The Ordovás Culture Center, located at Rua Luiz Antunes, 312, Panazzolo neighborhood, will be the stage for the screening of the feature film between February 20th and March 3rd. Screenings take place at varying times, including special sessions at 7:30 pm on February 20, 21 and 28, and afternoon sessions at 3:30 pm from February 22 to March 3, Thursday to Sunday.
Tickets are available for R$20.00, with half-price tickets at R$10.00 for students and seniors. Additionally, every Thursday, promotional tickets will be offered for R$10.00. The film’s indicative rating is 12 years old.
