Caxias do Sul hosts Bloco Arco-Íris this Sunday (18), at the Railway Station. The attraction returns to Carnival in Caxias do Sul after three years and promises lots of fun starting at 2pm, in front of the Municipal Department of Culture.
The party continues until 9pm, with performances by eight DJs, pagoda shows and a drum procession. The attractions will be led by master of ceremonies Yan Scherer, Miss RS Diversity 2019/2021.
The first performance is by DJ Mika, who takes the stage at 2pm, still warming up. Also performing are DJs Tyra (2:30 pm), Renan (3:30 pm), Estrela (4:00 pm), Tati (4:30 pm), Odra (7:30 pm), Naomi (8:00 pm) and Nick (8:30 pm) — all working at the Level Cult nightclub. The artistic program also includes pagoda shows by JC (3pm) and the duo Beiçola and Tinga, who liven up the party in the company of the band Amigos do Bloco, at 5pm. Another highlight is the procession towards Level, which will be led by the Bloco da Ovelha band.
The public will have at their disposal a structure with a stage for shows, bars, an inclusive space for people with disabilities and chemical bathrooms. Private security and cleaning teams are also planned. The party was scheduled for last Tuesday (13), but had to be moved due to the heavy rain that hit the region at the beginning of the week.
The most colorful Carnival in Caxias is free. For those who want to enjoy the party in the VIP area, abadás will be sold during the block. Stylized t-shirts cost R$50 and, after the block, entry to night parties at Level and Reffugio is exempt.
Bloco Arco-Íris is a project of the NGO Construindo Igualdade, with funding from the Paulo Gustavo Law. Sponsorship: Artezanalle Arte LGBTQIA+ and Level Cult. Support: Off the Tracks Lab, Underline! Communication, Farofa Culture and Innovation and La Nieta Armazém Ecológico.
