The Chamber of Store Managers (CDL) of Sapiranga carried out, this Wednesday (14/02) the donation of official Grêmio and Internacional shirts signed by the players for a charity auction in favor of the Neonatal ICU at Hospital Sapiranga. Both were acquired by CDL Sapiranga during the 1st Charity Dinner in support of the Neonatal ICU, held on November 10, 2023.
Now, as a solidarity initiative, CDL Sapiranga donated the shirts to Hospital Sapiranga for a new auction, with the purpose of raising funds for the Neonatal ICU. The unit records an annual deficit of approximately R$1.2 million, and is experiencing serious difficulties due to the transfers from the Unified Health System (SUS) being far below reality.
Participating in the delivery ceremony were the president of CDL Sapiranga, Ademir Gerson Deitos; the director of Sustainability, Social Affairs and Environment, Sérgio Strassburger; the director of Products and Services, Delmo Baierle and the general manager of CDL Sapiranga, Pâmela Riboli. Representing Hospital Sapiranga, the Administrative Director, Elita Herrmann and the Quality Coordinator of Hospital Sapiranga, Jordana Dresch, received the donation.
