The Municipal Health Department (Semsad) of São Leopoldo announced the locations of the Health Bus from February 19th to 23rd. From Monday to Friday, it travels through the neighborhoods of São Leopoldo, especially the areas furthest from the Center.
The unit’s teams work with the aim of providing guidance, preventing diseases and avoiding population displacement. Services take place in the morning from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and in the afternoon from 1:30 pm to 4 pm.
Equipped with an office, an air-conditioned screening room, as well as a bathroom for professionals, the mobile unit has a service team including a general practitioner, nurse, nursing technician, administrative staff and driver. Accompanying the Health Bus will be the Mobile Vaccination Unit.
