Ingredients:
1 large onion
1 cup of Traditional Finna Wheat Flour
Black pepper
1 tablespoon spicy paprika
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of whole milk
1 whole egg
Frying oil
Sauce
1/2 can of cream with whey
2 tablespoons of ketchup
3 pinches of spicy paprika
1 pinch of black pepper
1 pinch of oregano
2 pinches of salt
Preparation mode:
Gently remove the skin from the onion, cutting off just one end. Cut the onion as shown in the video, without pushing the knife all the way in, so as not to loosen the petals.
In a pan of boiling water, dip the onion and leave it immersed for 1 minute; Don’t overcook it or it becomes mushy.
Remove the onion from the pan and submerge it in a bowl of water and ice cubes to open the petals. In a bowl, place the milk and egg and mix well. In another bowl, mix the flour and seasonings.
Bread the onion, passing it in the liquid mixture and then in the dry mixture. Repeat the process. Deep fry the onion until it turns golden.
Drain it on paper towel.
Sauce: mix all ingredients until combined.
