Pelotas Parque Tecnológico is pleased to host, on February 21st, the Pelotas edition of Meetup South Summit Brazil 2024. Starting at 2pm, the free event, registration for which can be made at Sympla platformpromises to be a landmark for those interested in entrepreneurship and innovation.
The opening ceremony will be attended by Thiago Ribeiro, the renowned CEO of South Summit Brazil. Following the ceremony, a panel with influential ecosystem ambassadors will debate the latest innovations from the south of the country. Among the highlights of the program are Simone Stülp, Secretary of Innovation, Science and Technology, addressing the preparations for the 2024 edition of South Summit Brazil, and Lisiane Lemos, Secretary of Digital Inclusion and Support for Equity Policies, who will speak about inclusion and diversity. The closing of the event will be marked by a thematic panel focused on health and biotechnology.
These regional meetings, which precede South Summit Brazil 2024, aim to expand the event’s reach across the state, strengthening its impact in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship. The big event, in its third edition, will take place between March 20th and 22nd, at Cais Mauá, in Porto Alegre.
About Pelotas Technological Park
Founded in 2016 and transformed into an ICT (Institute of Science and Technology) in 2023, the Park is managed by TECNOSUL, a civil association of a scientific, technological, educational and cultural nature. Governed by a Board of Directors elected every three years, the Park stands out in three main areas: information and communication technology, health and biotechnology, and creative industry. It currently houses 65 companies, including 25 in the Park, seven in coworking spaces, 22 incubated and 10 pre-incubated, in addition to housing incubators such as Conectar, CIEMSUL and SENATEC. The Park also offers a coworking space with a gastronomic area for 55 people, an auditorium for 230 people, three meeting rooms, parking and a FabLab focused on education and innovation.
