The news that influencer Lorena Torezan, 13 years old, who lived in Santa Rita do Passa Quatro (SP) and had been fighting cancer for almost 4 years, died on Wednesday (7/2) took many internet users by surprise.
The teenager discovered the health problem before turning 10, in 2020, and began to be successful on social media by sharing her routine. After the news of her death, she has been gaining new followers. Currently, it has more than 119 thousand. On her profile, she showed her dances, makeup and treatment details.
Lorena Torezan lived in Santa Rita do Passa Quatro (SP) and was hospitalized. The girl’s initial treatment was chemotherapy, which was successful, but did not cure the young woman completely.
On that occasion, residents of her city ran a virtual campaign to increase their numbers on social media and some celebrities, like Eliana, even sent her videos.
Shortly afterwards, experts revealed another tumor, at the back of the vena cava, which carries blood back to the heart. The cancer then metastasized to other parts of the body and reached the uterus.
According to G1, Lorena’s treatment was carried out at Hospital do Amor in Barretos (SP) and the doctors used a state-of-the-art medicine, developed in the USA.
The news of the death was confirmed by family members through a post in Lorena’s stories. The teen influencer’s wake is being held at the Ernesto Andreghetto Municipal Velório and, at 9 am, the burial will be at the Campo da Paz Municipal Cemetery.
