The municipality of Bom Jesus de Goiás, which is in the south of the state, determined the mandatory use of protective masks and social distancing inside the city’s public administration buildings.
The measure attempts to contain an increase in the number of Covid-19 cases. The decree came into effect this Wednesday (31/1), as soon as it was published.
According to data from the Ministry of Health, in the last epidemiological week (21 to 27 January), the city recorded 36 cases. In the previous one, there were six.
“The mandatory use of a facial protection mask, 70% alcohol gel and social distancing is determined on the premises of the buildings of all public administration bodies in the Municipality of Bom Jesus-GO”, describes the decree signed by Mayor Adair Henrique da Silva.
