Nova Petrópolis holds the 2nd Great Rural Meeting on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of February, at Praça das Flores and Rua Coberta, integrating the summer program at Jardim da Serra Gaúcha.
More than 260 vehicles have already been confirmed at the event, which will feature vehicle exhibitions, musical shows, lectures and the traditional rural tour to Ninho das Águias. The three days of programming will have free entry.
According to the organization of the 2nd Great Rural Meeting, the event records significant growth compared to the previous edition, when 177 vehicles participated.
On the afternoon of Saturday, February 3rd, the traditional rural tour will take place to the Eagles’ Nest. The train will depart from Praça das Flores at 2pm, with an expected return to the Center of Nova Petrópolis at 4:50pm. On stage, the event will feature shows by the bands Menagallas, OSE and Dizzy Riders throughout the weekend.
Also on Saturday, at 9pm, the organization of the 2nd Great Rural Meeting will award trophies to national vehicles that stand out in the categories: oldest vehicle; original Willys vehicle; original Ford vehicle; modified vehicle; greater distance from original vehicle; greater distance changed vehicle; greater female distance; Rural highlight; highlight F-75; and highlight F-85. In addition, participation trophies will be awarded to foreign registrants.
It is still possible to register vehicles via WhatsApp (54) 99995-7313. According to the organizers, meeting participants must pay attention to their accommodation needs, as practically all hotels and inns in the central region of Nova Petrópolis are close to capacity.
