A WITH YOUNG Porto Alegrein collaboration with SETCERGS (Union of Cargo Transport and Logistics Companies in Rio Grande do Sul), is launching a project to adopt a municipal school. The objective is to assemble educational kits for students by collecting school supplies and providing a warm welcome at the beginning of the school year. This initiative is carried out in partnership with the Social Action Center, Fetransul and Porto Alegre City Hall.
The campaign, under the motto “Education involves freight transport”, highlights the importance of the TRCL sector, which not only delivers school supplies, but all items that reach our homes, markets and stores.
COMJOVEM Porto Alegre invites the community to join this movement for education, highlighting the collective responsibility for educational and social progress.
“Ensuring a suitable learning environment not only boosts individual growth, but also helps build a stronger and fairer society. Investing in education is investing in the future and in creating an environment conducive to the development of each child”, says Gustavo Krás, coordinator of COMJOVEM Porto Alegre.
Donations can be made until February 15th, at collection points located at SETCERGS (Avenida São Pedro, 1420 – São Geraldo, Porto Alegre) and FETRANSUL (Plínio Kroeff, 1550 – Sarandi, Porto Alegre). The benefiting school will be selected by Porto Alegre City Hall, based on the criteria of greatest need.
