The 26-year-old pharmacist, Jailma Cavalcante Frade, passed away on Saturday night (13), as a result of a hemorrhagic stroke. Born in Conceição PB, she was hospitalized in João Pessoa after feeling unwell.
According to reports from relatives, the whole situation began last Friday (12), when Jailma had to be transported to an emergency medical center due to intense headaches. Upon being admitted to the scene, she suffered a seizure and needed to be intubated. After that, she was transferred to the Trauma Hospital, where she stayed until the previous day.
Family members confirmed the death. Tests carried out revealed that the pharmacist suffered brain death.
The family will donate the organs. The date and time of the burial are yet to be announced. With information from Vale do Piancó News
