The fourth edition of the Vida em Foco project football game was held this Sunday (14), at the Harmonia resort football field, in Imbé. The objective of the event is to collect food for institutions and families in vulnerable situations.
The match is organized by businessman Jorge Alimon and his wife Adriana Marimon, residents of Imbé. The invited teams were Futebol de Terça, who played against Glorioso FC and Mar Azul, who played with Mocidade Alegre.
Among the teams organized for the friendly match, Mocidade Alegre, from Porto Alegre, who donated almost 1 ton of food, stood out.
Mayor Ique Vedovato, the municipal secretary of Tourism, Sports and Culture (SETURDEC), Adriano Pacheco, the director of the Department of Sports, Vainer Fernandes and businessman Jorge Alimon were present.
“Actions like this are important for our community and show love, respect and affection for those people who need it most. Events like this will always be welcome in our city”, highlighted the mayor.
In total, 2.5 tons of food were collected, donated by businesspeople and game participants. The food received was donated to the Albatroz Public Community Center.
