Summer holidays are a time of rest and leisure for many people. However, for the trip to be safe and peaceful, it is important to carry out preventive maintenance on your car before hitting the road.
A survey carried out by Webmotors Autoinsights, the largest automotive ecosystem in Brazil and the main business and solutions portal for the segment, showed that 65% of respondents always carry out maintenance before putting the car on the road, while 26% tend to resort to this practice periodically.
The survey data also reveals that 74% of the platform’s users choose to travel by car during their summer holidays. For 85% of respondents, a general vehicle check-up is the most important service to be done before a vacation trip, followed by automotive repairs (40%) and oil changes (34%).
Among survey participants, 67% say they would be motivated to schedule a service if they had the benefit of a discount in exchange. As a curiosity, the survey also shows that 82% recognize the term “revision”, but only 18% are familiar with the word “check-up”.
“Based on the survey, we observed a tendency for users to resort to reviews and, understanding this reality, it is increasingly necessary for the market to provide solutions that make people’s routines easier”, says Natalia Spigai, CMO at Webmotors. “An example of this is Webmotors Serviços, a recently launched functionality that aims to speed up the process of scheduling vehicle maintenance through artificial intelligence.”
