On the corner of Garibaldi and Beira-Mar avenues, in the Center, there will be a performance by DJ Jackson Garcia. Next, the country duo Anderson & Matheus, ambassadors of the biggest country music festival in southern Brazil, Churrasco e Modão, take to the stage. The night ends with a performance by Grupo Doce Desire.
Mariluz
In Mariluz, the program to celebrate the arrival of 2024 will take place on Avenida Mariluz, between Avenida Paraguassú and the seafront. At the venue, the party will be led by DJ Jamaica, with the Banda Montagem Festa Show following.
“We put together a diverse program to cover all audiences and cover both the central area and the North Zone of the city. And it will be like this throughout the summer season. We are finalizing an agenda full of attractions for all tastes”, points out Pacheco.
It is worth remembering that, as in recent years, the city council chose not to hold fireworks during events scheduled for New Year’s Eve. One of the reasons, according to Mayor Ique Vedovato, is the inconvenience that the noises end up causing in animals, children, the elderly and people with sensory sensitivities.
“The colorful fireworks festival in the sky is very beautiful, we admit that. But there is already a tradition of not holding this type of event in Imbé out of respect for people and animals. We even researched values for the use of silent fires, but we decided that this value would be better applied in other more important areas”, summarizes Ique.
