The year 2024 is approaching and, with it, new trends begin to emerge. In the world of fashion and beauty, it is common to see new pieces and habits gaining followers or that trend from many years ago resurfacing with a new look. To help you start the new year off on the right foot and in the know, we’ve put together some of the main bets for next season, according to experts.
PEACH FUZZ
The color of the year 2024, chosen by Pantone, promises to be one of the main trends that will dominate the streets. Peach Fuzz is a soft coral, which conveys tranquility and is the epitome of summer. According to image and style consultant, Marina Gazolla, one of the biggest bets for using color is in a monochromatic look. “Peach Fuzz is not visually tiring and does not border on exaggeration. So, use and abuse jumpsuits, dresses and sets. An entire outfit in this color can even lengthen the silhouette. Another option is to play tone on tone, playing with the different nuances of the color chosen by Pantone”, recommends the expert.
HONEY HAIR
It’s time for the “honey” blonde to turn heads! For 2023, the coloring bet is on bleached strands in softer contrasts, with a predominance of warm tones. The trend, which has followers such as Rihanna and Kim Kardashian, arrives in Brazil through the new Conexão collection, from the Werner Coiffeur chain, which sets the main cut and color trends for next year. “To adapt to the style of Brazilian women, we recreated honey hair with our signature, which mixes different warm and cold tones to guarantee a soft contrast and bring plenty of luminosity to the face. The best thing about this trend is that it suits all skin tones, from the whitest to the darkest, they can benefit from Honey Hair”, explains Rudi Werner.
NANOTECHNOLOGICAL BOOSTER
It’s not new that nanotechnological assets are gaining fans, but in 2024 it will officially be their moment! This is because, more and more, the benefits of opting for products that contain the famous microparticles have been proven. After all, they are able to penetrate the deepest layers of the skin. “Unlike common active ingredients, nanoactive active ingredients have very small molecules that can penetrate the tissue more quickly. In stretch mark treatments, for example, they are increasingly effective, as they are able to regenerate tissue in record time, especially when combined with antioxidant, remodeling and humectant functions”, explains dermopigmentist Tabata Maffini, who created the Nanostria method – protocol which combines dermograph technology with the power of 15 nanoactives concentrated in a serum, which promote a real boost to improve the region.
BALLOON
The trend that made the years 2005-2010 returns in 2024! “The secret to maintaining balance and visual harmony is choosing just one balloon piece in the composition. From there, create counterpoints with others that are more fitted to the body. For example, combine a balloon skirt with a tighter blouse. Another strategy is to pay attention to the fabric that makes up the piece. Light and fluid fabrics can create more elegant and less bulky looks, while heavier or more rigid versions leave the piece with even more volume”, concludes Marina Gazolla, image and style consultant.
