From February 1st, Orquídea Alimentos will be responsible for managing a mill in the neighborhood of Jaguaré, in the west of São Paulo. With this new operation, which has already started the transition process, the company will be able to increase its wheat grinding capacity by 22%, going from the current 36 thousand tons per month to 44 thousand tons per month.

Through this operation, Orquídea Alimentos will also manage the Mirella flour brand, increasing the number of brands in its portfolio to nine. The transaction was advised by Trust & Co Investimentos, a reference in mergers and acquisitions.
This is Orquídea’s second operation in the state of São Paulo. This location will be responsible for the production of Sabor de France products, a brand managed by Orquídea that rescues European artisanal baking.
