On Sunday, December 3, the Ulbra Chamber Orchestra will perform the last concert of the 2023 season at Farol Santander Porto Alegre (Entrance via Siqueira Campos, 1125). This time, the program will be dedicated to the Baroque period, with works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Arcangelo Corelli and Francesco Manfredini. Conducted by Tiago Flores.
By JS Bach, the Orchestra will present Brandenburg Concerto no. 3 and Aria on the fourth string of suite no. 3. The program will also feature Corelli’s Concertos Grossos, Op. 6, numbers 9 and 4.
The show will also feature two other concerto grossos composed especially for Christmas Eve: Concerto Grosso Op. 6, nº 8, by Corelli; and Concerto Grosso Op. 3 nº 12 – Christmas Concert, by Manfredini.
