Gilberto Boscato, unanimously, maintained his position as president of the Centro Empresarial de Flores da Cunha for the period 2024/2025. The election took place last Thursday, November 23, at the entity’s location. Elias Biondo remains vice-president, while Décio Demoliner, Marcelo Costa and Francinei Bulla remain on the executive board. Volnei Dondé and Denise Venturini, two businessmen, joined the group of directors.
The meeting was attended by the current members of the Deliberative Council, Fiscal Council and Executive Board. There was no other candidate competing for the position. During the General Assembly, the entity’s financial statements for the period 2022/2023 were presented, which were assessed, deliberated and approved by the Supervisory Board. Paulo Roberto Finger, president of the Deliberative Council, was also re-elected, with Eumar Viapiana as vice-president.
Boscato, in his speech, thanked the support received and highlighted the efforts of his team during his tenure. He emphasized the importance of continuing the work, focusing on the entity’s innovation and sustainability. For the 2024/2025 biennium, priorities include expanding members’ knowledge through lectures, courses and MBAs, maintaining initiatives to boost tourism in Flores da Cunha and Nova Pádua, and introducing new courses at the Senai Professional Education Center, located at the entity’s headquarters, and which has already trained more than 700 Young Apprentices.
“The Business Center grows daily, incorporating new members and providing benefits to the local community. It is essential that we continue with this legacy achieved over more than 33 years,” he stated.
Gilberto Boscato has a degree in business administration and marketing from UCS and a postgraduate degree in finance from USP. He was manager of Branco do Brasil for more than 30 years. Today, he heads Boscato Assessoria, and provides consultancy to companies in the Administrative and Financial areas.
The new board takes over on January 1, 2024.
