The Municipal Department of Sports, Leisure and Youth (Smelj) released the schedule of sporting activities in Porto Alegre this Saturday, 25th, and Sunday, 26th. Changes to the schedule may occur due to the weather.
Soccer – The program carried out by Smelj, In Cada Campo uma Escolinha (ECCE), will have a meeting for the pre-school category, on Saturday, 25th, starting at 9am, at Praça Cândido Menezes.
Várzea Municipal – The Várzea Municipal Football Championship has games on Saturday and Sunday. Below, the table for the second phase of matches in the master and veteran categories.
Exchange Circuit – On Saturday, the 25th, the last stage of the 3rd Porto Alegre Foreign Exchange Circuit takes place. The event, organized by Smelj, will be at Parque Ararigbóia, starting at 8am. The exchange game is a volleyball adapted for elderly people and its matches last 15 minutes per match or 15 points. The park will be open for the public to follow the circuit.
Basketball – The Porto Alegre Open Games (JAPA) take place on Saturday, the 25th, with men’s basketball. The activity starts at 9am, at ACM (Rua Washington Luiz, 1050).
Race – The morning of Sunday, 26th, begins with the 29th Race for Life, an event organized by the Children’s Cancer Institute (ICI) that will start at 7am at Praia de Belas.
Volleyball – On Sunday there will also be volleyball at the Porto Alegre Open Games. The category that participates is the children’s category, starting at 9 am at Clube Geraldo Santana.
