A building located on Ladeira das Azaleias, in Gramado (RS), collapsed, due to structural collapse, at around 5:40 am this Thursday (23) due to the large volume of rain in the region. According to the city hall, the place has been isolated since last Saturday (18) and there are no reports of victims. “The building fell within its own land and did not reach the Três Pinheiros neighborhood.”
“It is worth highlighting that soil instability continues and the collapse episode is just one of the risk situations. Therefore, the place where the building was located and the Três Pinheiros neighborhood remain isolated”, highlighted the city hall.
“The municipal administration, through Civil Defense and all its departments, continues to work with determination to assist the population of Gramado with their demands. Fire Department, Military Brigade and Civil Police work together with the city hall.”
