Giorgio Armani presents Armani Code Parfum, a new woody aromatic fragrance that rewrites the olfactory signature of the original Armani Code. Still maintaining its woody, aromatic and sensual identity, the fragrance now has a more sensitive side, thanks to its combination of iris notes.
The perfume was developed by master perfumer, Antoine Maisondieu (Givaudan), who used the rarest and most precious ingredients that capture the essence of a man who is always evolving. Armani Code Parfum contains top notes of bergamot and bergamot leaf, both from Calabria, Italy. For this fragrance, bergamot was extracted through molecular distillation, allowing the perfumer to carefully select a specific molecular segment of bergamot.
To enhance the aroma, the middle notes of Armani Code Parfum include orris root and clary sage that are driven by the fusion of natural and technological iris notes. This blend of natural iris resinoid from Morocco and synthetic iris aldehydes provides a new sensitivity to the aromatic signature. Based on the heritage of the original Armani Code fragrance, the launch is also composed of notes of tonka bean and cedar, present in the base notes.
