Beer production is on the rise in the region and Linha Nova, known as the Birthplace of Breweries in Rio Grande do Sul, will host a meeting of breweries within the calendar of activities celebrating 200 years of German Immigration in Brazil.
On Sunday, the 26th, the city will host the 1st Bier & Food Festival in Parque Municipal, from 8am to 10pm. With the participation of 12 breweries in the region, the event, with free entry, will also feature a beer drinks workshop, which will be taught by Universidade Feevale at 1:30 pm. A meeting of vintage cars, announcement of the winners of the 3rd Photographic Competition and musical shows complement the program.
The participating breweries bring their varied labels to the event, guaranteeing flavors and aromas for all tastes. In addition to a variety of draft beer, souvenirs, glasses and beers will also be sold, allowing purchase and later tasting.
“Beer production arrived in Brazil with our immigrants. It is one of the most traditional activities and many breweries employ the German Purity Law in their brands, even using imported raw materials. It is a sector in constant evolution and, therefore, we encourage this meeting within our calendar of activities”, highlights the President of the Rota Romântica Association, Terezinha Marina Kuhn Haas.
The calendar of activities is organized by the Associação Rota Romântica and continues until July 2024, in each of the cities.
