In November, the basic food basket in São Leopoldo showed a decrease of 0.50% compared to the previous month, with the lowest value recorded at R$672.76, as published by the local Procon.
The products that saw the biggest price drop were pasta (21%), tomatoes (18%) and coffee (14%). However, not all items followed this trend. Potatoes and onions saw a significant increase of 50%, followed by meat, with an increase of 28%.
Procon highlights that these prices reflect the lowest price charged on the date of the survey and may vary throughout the month, depending on factors such as stock availability.
The survey includes 27 items, covering food, personal hygiene and cleaning products, in quantities suitable for family consumption.
