Pelotas stood out as one of the main points of interest at the 35th edition of the Tourism Festival (Festuris), in Gramado. The event, which began on Thursday (9), is a platform for the main players in national and international tourism. This year, the festival focused on the theme “Human Capital: Key to Transformation”, attracting more than 12 thousand participants and providing a space for sector leaders, entrepreneurs and public managers.
Mayor Paula Mascarenhas was present at the event, participating in the official opening and welcoming visitors to the city’s stand. “This is a big step towards expanding our tourism sector, an area with unlimited potential to generate jobs, income and opportunities for the population. At the stand, we have the chance to showcase the beauty of Pelotas and all of our diversity that deserves to be appreciated and visited,” she said.
The Pelotas stand offers visitors the chance to participate in a quiz with prizes until Sunday (12). In addition, the space is attended by the baronesses from the latest edition of Fenadoce and the Associação das Doceiras de Pelotas, who are distributing information materials about Pelotas’ attractions.
