Patbo, a brand owned by designer Patrícia Bonaldi, showed its High Summer and New Year’s Eve 2024 collection in São Paulo on Tuesday night (7). The Escape Away collection is unpretentiously chic and elegant, with a festive spirit and a touch of tropical glamour. Driven by the Acqua Glam aesthetic, the collection brings an update to the classic PatBO resort, transforming pieces that adapt easily from day to night.
The prints are inspired by summer celebrations and the joy of being in contact with nature. And the brand’s artistic expressiveness is revealed through organic shapes, accompanied by watercolors, as well as gradients and pastel tones. The Alegretto print is an example of vibrant colors, featuring captivating florals in fluid shapes and flower-shaped tops, coordinated by long skirts with deep slits.
The big highlight is the gradient sequin, available in two color variations, Gold and Acqua. This family of pieces includes short dresses adorned with feathers and dresses with cutouts. Furthermore, marine elements, such as starfish, are integrated to highlight the charm of nature.
In the color palette, solid tones such as Lime Green, Pink Flash and Blue Sea come to life in shapes made of crepe, mesh, lycra and sequins. The brand also invested in glamorous and all-white productions for the end of year festivities, combining feather applications, lurex and canvas pieces.
