With the aim of showing a little of her professional career, the artist, who has already held exhibitions in Brazil and Italy, will present a retrospective of works created between the years 1990 and 2023.
Among the paintings that will be on display for the visiting public are Espera, from 1995, Conflito, from 2008, Face Nebulosa, from 2014, Maria Odete, from 2016, and Olho Azul, from 2023. “Art is a universal language that transcends borders, cultures and generations”, highlights the artist.
Born in Marau/RS, Maura De Carli has a bachelor’s degree in Drawing and Plastics from the University of Passo Fundo, with a postgraduate degree in Art Education also from UPF and in Art Therapy, from Alquimy Art in São Paulo and UNP in Natal.
The “Body and Shape” exhibition is part of the “Cultural Station in Canela – Culture all Year” project, sponsored by Incorporadora Novalternativa. The cultural agent is S&S Cultura Turismo e Eventos.
Rua Coberta de Canela is at Largo Benito Urbani nº 77, Centro neighborhood. The place is famous for being a tourist complex in the heart of the city and bringing together the best of Gastronomy, Commerce, Culture and Entertainment. Entry is free and will be open daily from 10am to 10pm.
