Taquara’s 18th Magical Christmas will take place between November 16th and December 21st with many attractions to involve the community in the Christmas atmosphere with many music and theater shows. On November 16th, the celebration begins with a Christmas parade through the city center, and with a concert by singer Luiza Barbosa in Praça Marechal Deodoro.
With the slogan “Joy in Every Corner”, Magical Christmas 2023 is organized by Taquara City Hall, Sesc-Taquara and the Magical Christmas Volunteer Association, sponsored by Corsan.
Decentralized programming
Since 2021, Taquara’s Magical Christmas has had a decentralized program, bringing together activities in Praça Marechal Deodoro, as well as events in Bairro Eldorado and the District of Padilha. This year, in addition to these locations, actions are also planned in Bairro Empresa and in the districts of Pega Fogo and Fazenda Fialho.

November 16 – Christmas parade and show with Luiza Barbosa, in Bairro Centro;
30th of November – Terno de Reis and theatrical show “Aventura de Natal”, in Bairro Centro;
December 1st – Theatrical play “Os Trovadores de Natal”, in the Pega Fogo District;
December 7th – Presentation by students and show with singer Brunno Pedrozo, in Bairro Eldorado;
December 9th – Christmas Concert by Projeto Santa Cecília, at the Catholic Church in Bairro Centro;
December 12th – Christmas Cantata by the Newton Macedo Municipal Choir, at the Lutheran Church in Bairro Centro;
December 14th – Recital Solar Em Canto, not Solar Pina;
December 17th – Presentation by students and the Newton Macedo Municipal Choir, in the Padilha District;
December 21 – Presentation by students and show by Orquestra de Brinquedos, in Bairro Empresa.
