Goiânia – Young Thais Medeiros, aged 26, who suffered a serious allergic reaction after smelling preserved pepper, needed to be resuscitated in the early hours of this Wednesday (1/11), after having an episode of bronchospasm. The information was shared on the trancista’s social networks.
According to the publication, Thais was revived for 40 minutes by an advanced support team from the Mobile Emergency Care Service, Samu. “A night of great apprehension,” says the post.
Bronchospasm
According to the family, Thais had already had a first attack of bronchospasm on Tuesday night (10/31), which her relatives managed to control. However, professional support was needed when a second crisis began.
In mid-October, Thais’ mother, Adriana Medeiros, even shared videos of her daughter during speech therapy sessions. She celebrated the progress of her daughter, who is currently in a home Intensive Care Unit (ICU), in the capital of Goiás.
Thais Medeiros fell ill during lunch at her boyfriend’s house, in February this year, after smelling pickled goat pepper. She had a serious allergic reaction. Since then, she has continued undergoing treatment.
The trancist spent 20 days in an ICU in Anápolis, the city where the incident occurred, and was diagnosed with cerebral edema. She was later transferred to the capital of Goiás, where she continues to undergo treatment.
