The Sports and Leisure Center (CEL) São Luís, located in Canoes, received a general electrical renovation from the Municipal Department of Sport and Leisure (SMEL). The objective was to improve the infrastructure of the gym, which is used by athletes and the community to practice various sports.
The renovation included the replacement of all the gym’s lighting, which was previously sodium vapor and now consists of 28 400W LED spotlights. This change provides energy savings and better visibility for sports participants and spectators. Furthermore, the renovation also involved the replacement of all electrical wiring, circuit breakers and sockets, ensuring greater safety and preventing accidents.
CEL São Luís is a public space dedicated to sports and leisure for the Canoan population. The place hosts daily activities such as functional, aerobic dance and urban dances. The gym is also the venue for training and competitions in various sports, such as basketball, futsal, handball and volleyball. With the electrical renovation, CEL São Luís offers more quality and comfort for everyone who frequents the space.
