PUMA and PLEASURES have launched a new collection that combines sportswear with the irreverence of PLEASURES.
In its collections, PLEASURES always looks for eclectic references in music and pop culture, explaining the connection between the new collection and Marcelo D2’s IBORU project. In this second drop of PUMA x PLEASURES, both brands expand their creative partnership by including original cut and sew pieces, graphic t-shirts, accessories and two more versions of the progressive Velophasis sneaker, bringing the flavor of the 00s.
Some items feature exaggerated “Sportartikelhersteller” graphics, which translates to “sporting goods manufacturer” in German, nodding to PUMA’s heritage as a manufacturer of running and football cleats.
The PUMA x PLEASURES Velophasis is presented in two contrasting color combinations, one that maintains the over-dye aesthetic with a subtle off-white and yellow color scheme on the outsole, and a companion version that combines bold colors of orange, yellow and black .
