Ingredients:
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 small onion chopped
2 crushed garlic cloves
6 large, ripe tomatoes, chopped, skinned and seeded
1 teaspoon KITANO Sweet Paprika
3 tablespoons of tomato paste
1 teaspoon KITANO Ground Black Pepper
1 teaspoon of salt
1 cup (tea) boiling water
2 teaspoons of KITANO Basil
Preparation mode:
In a pan, heat the oil, brown the onion and garlic. Add the tomatoes, sweet paprika, tomato paste, black pepper and sauté for 2 minutes. Add salt, water and mix. Cover the pan and cook for 7 minutes or until the tomatoes are soft and the sauce is thick. Add the basil, mix and cover the pan. Set aside for 3 minutes
